1. Garlic Bread Christmas Tree
Garlic bread AND Christmas, our two favourite things combined?
This food recipe has been doing the rounds on TikTok this holiday season and we’re living for it – it’s the cheese pull for us!
It’s the perfect appetizer for any festive gathering, and it’s super simple to make.
This TikTok video states you need to grab some pizza dough, flour, mozzarella, eggs, butter, garlic and basil.
The first step is to fold the pizza dough into a ball with the mozzarella inside.
Make each ball a similar shape and add it side by side on a dish with baking paper to resemble a Christmas tree.
You then need to drizzle the balls with egg wash or olive oil.
Next, pop the tray in the oven for 18 minutes on 180°C.
Whilst it’s cooking get 2 tablespoons of melted butter, 2 tablespoons of fresh basil, ¼ tablespoon of garlic salt and mix them together.
Take the dish out the oven and drizzle on top, with added parmesan and a dipping sauce if you’d like.
There we have it, go and try this cheesy goodness out for yourself and add it to your Christmas menu!

2. Chocolate Yule Log
Next within our merry guide to Christmas food recipes is one for chocolate lovers!
If you’re looking for a nice dessert to add to your Christmas table to impress your fam or friends, take a look at this Chocolate Yule Log.
TikTok user @HariBeavis states you’ll need to get 3 eggs, 85 grams of sugar and whisk them together for a few minutes until they’re pale and foamy.
You then need to add 85 grams of plain flour, 2 tablespoons of cocoa and ½ tbsp of baking powder to the mix and whisk together.
Now, pour the mix onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and cook in the oven for 10 minutes on 180°C.
Then take it out the oven and put the baking tray facing down on another piece of baking paper.
You’re then going to peel back the baking paper whilst it’s hot and roll it tightly in another sheet of fresh baking paper, letting it cool inside.
You then need to whip up some double cream and spread this in the middle of the cake and roll it up again.
The next step is to make some butter icing by whipping up 200 grams of butter, 300 grams of icing sugar and 3 tbsp of cocoa powder.
Finally, spread it on the cake and with a fork make the bark, sprinkle with icing sugar to finish.

3. Cinnamon Rolls
Forget heading to Cinnabon for some sweet treats, you can make your own cinnamon rolls right at home – yipee!
This Christmas dessert from @SophieBakas is a must-try for the festivities.
There are quite a few steps and required ingredients involved but it’s worth it for the end result.
First, mix together 13g of fresh yeast, 100g of whole milk, 1 egg, 15g of granulated sugar, 10g vanilla sugar, 100g unsalted butter, 300g bread flour and 5g salt for around 4 minutes.
Then add the butter to the dough and mix, then let the dough rise for 45 minutes.
Now, roll out the dough into a rectangle and prepare the frosting by beating 80g of unsalted butter with 120g of brown sugar and adding in 1 tbsp of cinnamon.
Mix it all together well and spread the filling onto the dough, then roll it into a tight log and cut it into 9 rolls.
Then put them on a baking tray and let them rise for an hour, before then preheating the oven at 180°C.
Next brush the cinnamon rolls with some milk and pop them in the oven for 15 minutes.
Then take them out and let them sit for 10 minutes before letting them cool on a baking rack.
Finally, if you’d like to add some icing you can make the frosting using 90g unsalted butter, 180g powdered sugar, 60g of cream cheese and a pinch of salt.
4. Parmesan & Truffle Oil Roasted Potatoes
You’ve heard of crispy roasties, but you haven’t heard of these – they’re next level!
Next on our list of Christmas food recipes are parmesan and truffle oil roasted potatoes by @JadeCarolan.
The TikTok user firstly states to get 300g of Maris Piper potatoes and slice them into chunks and let them boil in salted water for 10 minutes.
Now, melt 15 g butter, 2 garlic gloves, 1tbsp white truffle oil, parsley, a sprinkle of chilli flakes, sprinkle of mixed herbs, sprinkle of parmesan and a ½ tsp of Italian seasoning into a bowl.
Then add salt and pepper and dip each potato into the bowl and mix them thoroughly.
Next you need to get a bowl of parmesan cheese and dip the potatoes in the cheese, adding on any leftover mixture before placing them onto a baking tray.
Now place in the oven for 30 minutes at 200°C until golden brown and crispy.
Serve with your dip of choice, we reckon a nacho cheese dip could make these pop off – yum!
5. Camembert Stuffed Stuffing Balls
Gooey, melted camembert is one of the absolute best parts about Christmas, don’t you agree?
If you’re someone who also loves stuffing balls too, you NEED to give this recipe from TikTok user @PlanetFood a try.
The best part is, you can make this Christmas food recipe in a few simple steps and cook it in your air fryer so there’s no faffing about in the kitchen – always a winner!
Firstly, mix together 400g of sausage meat, 200g of stuffing and 50g of flour.
Then cut up 200g of camembert into cubes and wrap them in your stuffing mix.
Place the stuffing balls into your air fryer at 180°C and cook for 10 minutes.
If you’d like, serve with a cranberry sauce to give them a nice kick for the big day.
6. Gingerbread Loaf Cake
May we introduce you to the one and only… Gingerbread Loaf Cake.
Up next for our Christmas food recipes from TikTok is an absolutely mouth-watering dessert.
There’s simple steps to follow so you can bring the great British bake off to your student flat.
First, you’ll need to add 225g of unsalted butter, 225g of dark brown sugar and 125g of black treacle to a pan and melt on a low heat.
Then mix all your ingredients together and add to a bowl with 375g of plain flour, 2 tsp of ground cinnamon, 4 tsp of ground ginger and fold it all together.
Now, you need to add in 3 medium eggs and mix all of them together.
Next, you need to add in 225ml of whole milk, 2 tsp bicarb and whisk it all together and stir to combine.
Then pour your mix into a loaf tin about 2/3 of the way full and bake at 160°C for 50 minutes.
Take your loaf tin our and allow it to cool whilst making your icing with 150g of unsalted butter and beat it in a bowl.
Then add in 300g of icing sugar, ½ tsp of ground cinnamon, 2 tsp of ground ginger and mix together.
Finally, decorate the loaf cake however you’d like, you can add on mini gingerbread men if you like.

7. Christmas Oreo Balls
Oreo balls are an amazing festive treat which we LOVE, and we’re sure you will too.
Try out this viral Christmas food recipe from TikTok which is super easy to make.
You’ll need to get a few packets of Oreos (around 70) and crush them up in a blender.
If you don’t have a blender, crush them up using a bag and rolling pin, but leave a few crushed Oreos in a bowl for later.
Then add in two packs of cream cheese until the mix and blend or whisk until smooth.
You now need to roll the mixture into balls and pop them into the freeze for around 30-45 minutes.
Now, melt 1 cup of white chocolate over a boil until it’s smooth then take half of your Oreo balls and dip them in the chocolate using a knife.
Then place them back on the tray and melt 1 cup of milk chocolate to dip the rest of your Oreo balls in.
When they’re all done, you can pour on some more melted chocolate if you’ve got a sweet tooth – we deffo have.
8. Christmas M&M Cookies
Whether you’re baking up some Christmas-themed treats for your loved ones or wanting some soft and chewy cookies for yourself, you must try this next recipe.
The first step in this TikTok recipe is to preheat your oven to 180°C whilst then putting some baking paper on a baking tray.
Then, get a medium sized bowl and whisk together 1 ½ cups of flour,1 tsp baking powder and ½ tsp of baking soda and set side.
In a separate bowl, whisk together ½ cup of unsalted butter, ½ cup granulated sugar and 1/3 cup of brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Now you need to add in 1 egg and 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract and whisk it all together.
You should then mix in all the ingredients together and add in your M&Ms and chocolate chips (you can use as many as you like).
Roll your mixture into even sized balls until they’re nice and smooth then put them on your baking tray, leaving a small gap between each one.
Bake in the oven for around 10 minutes or until golden brown, let them cool before serving.
If you don’t like M&Ms you could easily use smarties for this recipe, or magic stars – mmm yummy!
