The Sugar Mill is a bar, a club, and a brilliant live music venue, all rolled into one fun night out whenever you decide to go through the doors. Think of any of your favourite bands who have started life in the last 30 years, and there’s a very good chance that they have played at The Sugar Mill at some point on their way up the music chain.
It first opened in 1994 and welcomed bands such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, Bring Me the Horizon, Biffy Clyro, Daft Punk, Foals, and Muse to name just a few. This is also a great place for a big student night out, late into the night, with Electric Friday starting at 10.30 pm once a month, a great big indie and alternative dancefloor for just a fiver entry, cheap deals on drinks and a late closing of 6 am!
